POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our Salesforce platform, while also taking on key project and product management responsibilities. You’ll collaborate closely with a senior Salesforce Developer to streamline workflows and processes that boost business efficiency and drive growth. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will: 

• Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, overseeing user management, permissions, security settings, and system configurations

• Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce projects, gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into detailed user stories in Jira

• Serve as the Product Manager for Salesforce, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business needs and aligning them with company objectives

• Manage the Salesforce project list, tracking timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables

• Collaborate with the senior Salesforce Developer to design and implement scalable solutions and workflows

• Oversee Salesforce integrations with other tools and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and process efficiency

• Conduct user training and create documentation to facilitate the adoption of Salesforce tools and processes

• Monitor and improve data quality and system performance

• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, updates, and best practices, recommending improvements as necessary

COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator

• Knowledge of Salesforce development capabilities and limitations for effective collaboration with developers

• Basic understanding of Apex, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools preferred

• Salesforce Certified Administrator 

Skills:

• Experience with data migration tools like Data Loader

• Experience with Salesforce integrations, workflows, process builder, and reporting tools preferred

• Strong project management skills, including experience in requirements gathering, user story creation, and timeline management 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams

• Prior experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst strongly preferred

Abilities:

• Ability to balance multiple priorities, manage deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira for tracking user stories and managing sprints

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position doesn’t have any supervisory responsibilities. 

WORK ENVIORNMENT: 

• Location: Primarily office-based, with 1 remote/ work from home day each week

• Conditions: General office environment with moderate noise levels. Occasional travel to aircraft or client locations may be required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

• Extended periods sitting at a desk or workstation

• Occasional walking/ movement between work areas (e.g., meetings, restrooms, or kitchen) 

• Repetitive Hand and Wrist Movements via frequent typing and use of a mouse

• Light lifting of office supplies, documents, or equipment (up to 20 lbs)

• Screen Use: Prolonged use of a computer screen

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a Full-Time Exempt position.

TRAVEL:

Limited, but may require occasional overnight travel for industry conferences, client meetings, or operational oversight at other locations.
